About Claira

I have been into fitness my whole life.  I have run marathons, completed bike races, and have always had a passion for lifting and strength training.

 

I knew I wanted to switch careers in 2017 when I was pregnant with my son. I exercised the entire time and had such a smooth delivery because of my active lifestyle. 

 

I became a Certified Personal Trainer in 2018.  In 2020, I created Claira Lee Fitness and branched out on my own. 

 

I currently work online as well as in person with clients.  I knew that I had a passion for helping people become the best versions of themselves.

In 2021, I went on my first fitness retreat in Lake Tahoe.  I knew this was something I wanted to execute on my own.  This is where Claira Lee Fitness Retreats was born.  In 2022, my first retreat was in beautiful Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia.   Some of the highlights included hiking the Maryland Heights Trail that overlooked the entire town of Harper’s Ferry (where John Brown’s raid took place in the Civil War) and white-water rafting on the Shenendoah River.

I have since hosted retreats in Sunday River Maine where we all had a 10 mile kayak excursion on the Androscoggin River and in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.  We hiked in the White Mountain National Forest which had breathtaking views of Lake Winnepesaukee.

All of my fitness retreats include room and board, all meals and non-alcoholic beverages, guided hikes, group fitness workouts, yoga, and different excursions.  I want everyone leaving my retreats feeling better than when they came.  My retreats include fun workouts, healthy meals, and enjoying the beautiful nature around us.
